Become a Dental Assistant in Eleven Saturdays. Our course is unique in that it is the only one taught in an actual practicing dental office. You will learn the state-of-the-art methods in assisting. This is a two day course approved by the Dental Board of California. Certification allows you to operate dental radiographic equipment under the general supervision of a supervising dentist. All applicants for RDA licensure must submit evidence of having completed an approved coronal polishing course. This is a procedure limited to the removal of plaque and stains from exposed tooth surfaces, using an appropriate rotary instrument with a rubber cup, brush and a polishing agent under direct supervision. RDA's desiring to place Pit and Fissure Sealants, must complete a two day Board Approved Course. This course is approved and includes lecture, laboratory and all clinical practice required by the Dental Board of California. Students are required to have patients for this course and we will provide all details upon registration.

This course is a Dental Board approved course which must be completed by Dental Assistants within one year of the date of employment and for RDA applicants who have not completed a Board approved program in Dental Assisting. This course is taught in conjunction with a 2 Hour California Dental Practice Act Course.
