Course Details

Dental Assisting Institute’s Pit and Fissure Sealant Course is a Two Day course certified by the Dental Board of California and is divided into 3 sections. The course consists of 4 hours of classroom training, 4 hours of laboratory training and 8 hours of clinical training.  Students will receive Certification recognized by the Dental Board of California upon successful completion of the course.

Students will learn and reach a competency level to make judgments regarding the application of pit and fissure sealants.

(Non RDA’s must have successfully completed a Board-approved 8 hour course in Infection Control, Coronal Polishing and CPR prior to this course.  If you are an RDA you must provide proof of current licensure and CPR status to the instructor.  Participants will be required to furnish evidence of having met these requirements.)
